Marketing Inspo: The Gridware ‘How It Works’ Webpage

In climate tech, the Gridware product page is one of the best I’ve seen so far.

A Series A startup that raised $26.4M in January 2025, Gridware makes grid-monitoring sensors, so utilities can detect and fix faults faster — keeping our power on with less interruptions.

Here’s 7 reasons why I like their Gridscope “How It Works” webpage:

✅ Opens with a realistic product photo and the product name (Product photos vs. graphic mockups speak volumes in the startup world.)

✅ Sums up the product’s capability simply (The “Inspections, 6000 times a second” subheading reminds me of Steve Jobs’ slogan for the first iPod: “1,000 songs in your pocket.” He focused on what users get instead of product specs like gigabytes.)

✅ Highlights key features in quick, easy-to-scan lists (i.e. Always on, Always connected, Durable, Cloud-free intelligence, Easy to install)

✅ Addresses top concerns, such as power outages, remote locations, and extreme weather conditions, professionally and comprehensively (i.e. “Operates independent of the grid using solar power to remain online even during power outages.”)

✅ Uses animation so the product stays with you as you scroll down the page, creating a sense of movement

✅ Shows you the product in action from all sides, working in all conditions

✅ Demonstrates just how easy it is to install the product

If I had to make 2 changes?

1️⃣ Enrich the page for SEO so more prospects can find the product when they search online for “grid monitoring”

2️⃣ Add a call-to-action button to sign up so page visitors can get notified with relevant product launches and company updates

Too many climate tech product webpages look and feel more like a product manual. But Gridware has created their “How It Works” webpage so that the descriptions are simple to understand, key concerns are addressed, and the product is put on full display.

Incredible work, Gridware!
